GGG Dog Show Entries 2025

We are so pleased you can join us for the Great Greyhound Gathering on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at Uttoxeter Racecourse. 

Please see the information below to choose which classes you wish to book, and note the terms and conditions. You may enter as many categories as you like, but please note the timings and avoid any clashes.

Classes in Ring 1 are solely for Greyhounds who have loving homes.

These classes will be eligible for Best in Show.

Classes in Ring 2 are solely for Greyhounds and are for fun. 

They will not be eligible for the Best in Show award.

Classes in Ring 3 are for the Greyhound, Sighthound, or other dog mentioned explicitly in the title of the class. 

They will not be eligible for the Best in Show award.

Each entry (regardless of the number of classes entered) will automatically receive a Greyhound Trust rosette, which can be claimed from the show ring gazebo. Please ensure you have your entry form to hand so that this can be validated; only one rosette is permitted per entry. 

Terms and conditions-

Greyhound Trust reserve the right to refuse entry on the show day if they believe you have entered the wrong category. 

It is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure they have entered the correct category and that no overlaps occur. 

Whilst every effort will be made to stick to timings, some slight deviation may occur. 

For entries containing more than one dog (e.g., Greyhound brace or treble), you need only make one entry, which will cover all two (or three) hounds. Only 1 joint rosette will be awarded in these classes.

Please turn up 15 minutes before your class starts. Late entry after the dogs have entered the show ring will not be permitted.

Please print your receipt, as this serves as proof of entry.

Please ensure your dog is on a short lead and entirely under control, ideally having had the opportunity to toilet before entry. Dogs showing signs of distress or inappropriate behaviour will be asked to leave the show ring.

No refunds will be issued unless the organisers cancel the event.
